I found the photograph on which this was based among my mother, Dorothy Hanson's, papers.  My guess is that she planned to make a drawing of it for the Saugatuck Douglas Art Club calendar. My sister Dee Dee made a landscape quilt of the same image and gave it to me for my birthday.
